Mehr Geld für den MV Hochschulbau
Für die Finanzierung des Ausbaus und der Sanierung der Hochschulen in MV gibt es mehr Geld.
Das barocke Universitäts-Hauptgebäude wurde zwischen 1747 und 1750 errichtet. Heute beherbergt es unter anderem das Rektorat und die festliche Aula der Greifswalder Universität. (Quelle: wikipedia)
Für den Ausbau und die Sanierung der Hochschulen haben sich das Bildungs- und Finanzministerium auf die Finanzierung eines verbindlichen Baukorridors geeinigt. Danach sind für den Hochschulbau bis 2016 insgesamt 660 Millionen Euro vorgesehen. Dies sind in diesem Zeitraum 93 Mio. Euro mehr als ursprünglich geplant.
Minister Brodkorb: „Mit der deutlichen Erhöhung des Etats gegenüber der ursprünglichen Planung macht die Landesregierung deutlich, welchen großen Stellenwert sie dem Hochschulbau und damit der Attraktivität des Wissenschaftsstandortes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern einräumt. Diese verbindliche Zusage an die Hochschulen über einen so langfristigen Zeitraum gibt ihnen mehr Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten bei der Umsetzung ihrer Vorhaben.“
Die Gelder dienen zum einen der Fortführung laufender Projekte, wie z.B. für den Campus Schillingallee der Universität Rostock oder für die Nachnutzung der frei gezogenen Klinikkomplexe der Universität Greifswald in der Innenstadt. Zum anderen können neue Bauvorhaben in Angriff genommen werden, wie z.B. der Erweiterungsbau für die Chemie der Universität Rostock in der Südstadt oder der Innenstadtcampus für Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften der Universität Greifswald.
